Welcome and Information Updates
Thank you for visiting my web page. I hope that you and your family are doing well.
This was an interesting school year. Our students rose to the challenge of participating in virtual classes. Please check the Prince William County website, www.pwcs.edu , for updated information about the 2020-21 school year.

About ESOL at Henderson
The ESOL team teaches lessons that support your student's academic language development. ESOL teachers work with small groups of students to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. We collaborate with classroom teachers to connect our lessons to the content--reading, math, science, and social studies--and the skills that are being taught in the classroom. Although we work with small groups, we also work in the classroom to support student learning. Our focus is to help students develop academic vocabulary and language skills that will enable them to understand and apply content area learning.

I am here for you!
The best way to reach me is through email. I will be checking my email regularly during the summer. Please feel free to contact me at jacobsla@pwcs.edu .

Thank you for all that you do to support our Huskies! Have a great summer!
