The Henderson Spelling Bee is Back!

The Henderson Spelling Bee is back! Classroom rounds began on Monday, January 25th for grades 2-5, with the school spelling bee taking place on Friday, February 12th. We are also pleased to announce this year our affiliation with the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The winner from the 4th - 5th Grade Spelling Bee will advance to the Prince William County Bee on March 12th for the opportunity to compete in the National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC.

Jan Brett Comes to Woodbridge

Most Henderson students know Jan Brett well and delight in her marvelous illustrations and children’s books. On Sunday, March 14^th this famous author will be hosting a book signing at Wegman’s in Woodbridge from 5-7 PM to promote her newest book, The Easter Egg.
